As anyone who has spent more than five minutes surfing the Web is aware,  the Internet has created vast new horizons for techie put-ons, practical jokes, useless (but often amusing) stunts and games, and general nonsense, as well as new digital art forms.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Use this handy Jave applet to translate plain text into Morse Code, or . . .

Live life in the fast lane (depending on what kind of Internet connection you have) with the Day in the Life Simulator
