Technology and the Future is a collection of readings intended for use in courses on technology and society. Published by the College Division of St. Martin's Press, it has been in print since 1972 and has been used in hundreds of schools and colleges in courses ranging from high school through graduate school. The seventh edition (the cover for which is shown at left) may be ordered from St. Martin's for immediate delivery. As the editor of the book, I have developed this site as a service to the students and faculty members who use the book in classes or who are considering using it, as well as to others interested in the social impacts of technology. Please note that it is my own personal project; St. Martin's Press has not approved the content of the site and is not responsible for its contents or links.                                                 -- Al Teich
