John B. Mahaffie is vice president of Coates
& Jarratt, Inc., a Washington DC research organization specializing
in the study of the future. He is an author and speaker on the future of global issues, health and medicine, transportation and infrastructure, work and worklife, and science and technology. His books include Future Work (Jossey Bass, 1990), Managing Your Future as an Association (ASAE, 1994), and The Future of the Apartment Industry (NMHC, 1995). He holds a B.A. degree in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Arizona, and an M.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University. |
